The suggested framework linked below has been designed to help teachers to understand and reflect on a child's profile of characteristics, thinking about important syndrome specific characteristics, as well as individual characteristics. The worked example shows one way in which this framework might be applied, and highlights how gathering this information, and developing a clear understanding of a child's individual profile, can help support the identification of appropriate support and strategies. When thinking about this framework, it may be beneficial to consult with a child's parent or carer, as well as talking with other colleagues and professionals that work with the child.
